While I do like the Devastator I suffer no illusions about its probability of being in game. But it does have 3 variants even if they are extremely similar.

What did you expect, of course the Banshee BNC-3E. The other two are daft.

King Crab. We need more unique mech chassis in the game. Humanoids are cool, but I'd rather have a variety of different chassis looks.

Annihilator would be my choice, it's the only one I know out of all of them but I think it's a mech that mwo needs due to weapon layout. Since we have an awesome which is mostly heavy energy, stalkers kinda a missle or laser mech depending on how you build it, bu the atlas can only hold one Biggwr ballistic or two smaller ones. Assault is really lacking in ballistics none of them can mount dual gauss or ac20. I though heavy metal was gonna allow that but they stuck the ballistics on the same arm so I could hope for the variants. Anyways a heavy ballistic assualt mech is what we need imo. I was reading up on the Annihilator there's even a variant that can hold 5 gauss rifles. But mostly builds include 4 heavier ballistic weapons except for the one laser variant. I think Annihilator is a good assault choice.

Gausszilla is a clan tech mech, so no. The Annihillator is so slow, a legged Atlas could run circles around it.

Annihilator, for sure. Uber hardpoints, though almost uniquely slow (max engine rating 240 for about 39 kph w/o tweak?). Ultimate direct fire boat. Plenty of pre-3050 variants (including pure energy boat!) to play with proportion of ballistic to energy hardpoints.


And as for Banshee - maybe, but surely not BNC-3E variant.

for me personally its the King Crab 1st it looks really good and it also has some nice variants with really nice weapon loadouts

and considering non clan 95ton mechs what ist there else then the Banshee in 3050 even if the Banshee is well not really blessed with weapons, well exept an Nightstar but that mech has not much variants

Well I voted anihilator but it truth I love all the listed mechs and the devastator is winning which is good for me too it'll be an absolute murder boat.

Devastator with twin gauss and twin PPCs? I don't think the poll needs any other option.

I choose Annihilator because it's one of the ballistic Assault mechs missing in the game. Also the Annihilator i'm sure can be configured to have 2 x AC20's anyway. It would complete the list of Assaults from Laser Boat, LRM Boat, All around boat and finally a ballistic boat.
