Couldn't bring myself to vote for Mech that reminds me of Marvel Comics Modok....

"One of the so-called "Clanbuster" variants developed in the lead-up to the Battle of Tukayyid, ComStar's techs replaced the twin autocannons with two M-7 Gauss Rifles, trading a minor reduction in destructive capacity for greatly increased range. Also, the Large Laser was upgraded to a Tronel XIII Large Pulse Laser and two Hovertec Streak SRM-2s with a single ton of reloads were added. These changes were accomplished by using an extralight engine in place of the standard model."

As far as the Banshee, I prefer the Marik variants (BNC-3M & -3Mr):
"BNC-3M - The 3M looks to increase the raw firepower that the Banshee has. To do this, the Autocannon/5 has been removed from the 'Mech, and in its place a second PPC has been installed with two Medium Lasers. While this does increase the firepower of the 'Mech, it puts an incredible heat burden on the machine as well. . . .BNC-3Mr - This field refit replaces the standard heat sinks with double strength models. An ER PPC and ER Medium Lasers replace the standard versions, with the updated heat sinks able to dissipate the increased heat."

Annihilator?
Devastator?
King Crab?
Imp?
(And for the bonus - will it be the: Banshee? Banshee BNC-3E? or the BNC-3E? Vote now!)
Those last three are EXACTLY the same mech

I like the KC enough because it's powerful, but not optimized, so it's interesting. The Devastator is pretty optimized and thus really bland. Chicken Legs add to the draw on the KC.

the Devastator however is a complete oposite of the Atlas in terms of firepower - long range punch using the chassis carry capacity for maximum lethality at a distance rather than up close punch and staying power. That gets my vote.
Also, I'm a fan of common name + chassis designation, so Banshee BNC-3E it is!

The Lyran version of it (3s?) Is the single most powerful Assault mech available before the technology starts rising. It's an interesting mech.
I thought there was gonna be a Banshee/King Crab fight when it gought to this poll.

Devastated was my second choice. Looks good and we can always use more dual PPC mechs (assuming the Unseen don't make it in).

THEY BOTH HAVE TO BE IN THE GAME !!!!!!!

Banshee (orig) - cause I'm meh about it (and usually variants come after orig, not the other way around).
I follow a strict 'no glitter, no crabs' rule in life and in Mechwarrior (cause they are horror to scouts).

But I think I have to go with teh Crab here. It might not be my first choice to pilot, but it's a venerable design, and a unique loadout and role focused almost purely on area denial - for all I'd like to see the Devastator in for an assault-class fire support (SO much better than the Mauler!), I like the idea of having this role-specific 'mech in the game.
In the 95-ton bracket, BNC-3S is the obvious choice, except maybe the BNC-3M, which is also pretty good. (Well, until we can get a BNC-5S, which is head-and-shoulders better!)
