We welcome all Casual and Competitive players. We are a North American based team with members in both the US and Canada.

Who Are The Jade Dragons [J D]? A division of the Zhi-Zhu Mercenary Corporation whose primary goal is competitive play at the highest level.
Strategy, Execution, and Gameplay are centered around the concept of Team with a focus on Tournament,
Ladder Style, & Meta Style game play.

Jade Dragon’s are humble – constantly working to improve their individual and team performance, while
contributing to both a fun and professional atmosphere. We believe in walking the walk, not talking the talk.
Our team philosophy is centered on the concept of team. You will find exceptional team-based play in both our Jade Dragon and Zhi-Zhu engagements. As a result of this philosophy, our team invests heavily into the
development of our members. We have in-house Strategists and Mech Class leaders that will provide ongoing feedback and coaching.

Quality over Quantity. Unlike many games/teams that have a zerg (win at all costs) mentality, our roster targets are substantially less. We want to target a roster size that allows for us to ensure adequate development of our members, effective execution of our strategies, and a team-based atmosphere. This is not a team where the contributions of an individual player to the team are lost, due to size nor is this a team who utilizes strength in numbers or sacrifices team integrity to win.

Simple - The goal is to win. Metrics like the number of kills and assists, or the amount of damage a particular player is doing…means nothing in Team play if we lose. Being part of Jade Dragon requires discipline and the ability to strive for something beyond the individual. For example: The ability to peel off a target at 20% and go defend a base cap is of greater value than any single metric. There will be no lone wolf players or one on one Mech battles. We move as one unit and execute predefined strategies.

All Jade Dragon members will be expected to exhibit superior MechWarrior piloting skills, have extensive knowledge of the game mechanics, and be active in the Zhi-Zhu community. Most importantly represent Zhi-Zhu (ZZ) through good sportsmanship both on and off the field. This means ignoring any public discussions or trolling whether it’s in game or offline on any forums (official or unofficial). You will ALWAYS be expected to take the high road. We let our actions speak for themselves and let the scoreboard tell the story. Do not engage in verbal debates of any kind!

Competing at the highest level of play requires commitment. Members can expect to adhere to a specific set of standards (below) which will be discussed during your personal interview on Teamspeak.

Play several days a week:Designated Playtimes & Dates shall be chosen. These practices will be Exclusive to Jade Dragon Members. We will work on tactics, Mech builds, and run drops that simulate ladder play. Comm channels should be kept clear and you should obey all commands. This is not the time to gossip or joke in channel. Come prepared to work and listen.

Maintain 70% Attendance: (Exceptions can apply but must be pre-approved). Note players with exceptions, will have to work TWICE as hard as those without. If you are having trouble meeting the minimum requirements on a regular basis, perhaps Jade Dragon is not for you.

Members Must Designate a Primary/Secondary Mech choice: You will be expected to play those selections at the highest level of play and commit to having all modules unlocked for your Primary Mech within 1 week and your Secondary Mech (within 3 weeks) from the time you are accepted in to the Dragon's.

NOTE - Any changes in Primary Mech Designation must follow a formal approval process.

C-bills: All Members will be required to keep a minimum of 10,000,000 C-Bills (This amount may fluctuate while the game is in development; i.e. things change) in their Mech Account at all times. This money is to be used for Jade Dragon activities only and should ONLY be used when directed. This is not play money, but rather an emergency fund kept in reserve that will be used sparingly.

Flexibility: As a Jade Dragon, be prepared to play whatever Mech configuration is deemed best for the team and in whatever play style benefits us the most. In most cases, Mech Configurations will be posted and made available to you after extensive research and testing. It will be your responsibility to play the designated configuration. Failure to do so may result in removal from The Dragons.

Open To Feedback: You can be expected to be openly criticized in channel. While all communications are meant to be a way to improve overall game play, at times criticism may come off as harsh. Please understand, we will not hand hold. We are all a team.

Active Forum Participation: All Members must be active on the forums daily. Team communications, strategies, and other important information will be found there. The more active you are the better. As new policies and rules become effective, players are responsible for “digitally signing” announcement threads signaling their acknowledgement.

Teamspeak: Anytime you are online in Mechwarrior, you are to be in Teamspeak. No exceptions.

No Multi Guilding/Teaming/Fraternizing: If you play on Jade Dragon, you play with us only. You are not allowed to drop with other Mech Clans or wear any other tags. Dropping with other groups, hanging out on other Teamspeak servers is prohibited unless it has been pre-authorized.

Game Handles: All Jade Dragon Applicants & Players must have the same forum name and teamspeak name as your in game Mech Warrior handle. This can easily be done in your Teamspeak and Forum Account settings.

Players must first apply and be accepted in to the Core ZhiZhu member base. Upon acceptance into ZZ, if a player wishes to elevate their game play by applying to the Dragons, he/she may apply to the Dragons. No player will be accepted in to Jade Dragon (regardless of skill) without first obtaining the rank of ZZ Member through the normal membership process.

i would like to endorse this group, no other tryhard group has a set of rules this hilariously draconian and silly, and i'm pretty sure that means they're the best. we at the word of lowtax are working 24/7 to mimic this. it's like wearing skate weights, only without the sense of accomplishment.

Folks, a ringing endorsement straight from Puddin' Head's mouth, or keyboard. ZhiZhu, and its sub unit, the Jade Dragons, are acitvely recruiting. Stop by and bring your skate weights as recommended by Puddin' Pie above. I'm really not sure what we will do with all the pre-fab lead bird leggings, but hey, we can probably find some use; enough of you stop by and maybe, just maybe, we can lash together a red cockaded woodpecker weight, or possibly an ostrich weight or two. The sky's the limit fellas. So, visit us soon at http://www.zhizhu-mercs.net/ See you on the battlefield.
