In mwo you can only buy mechs and work on them, but in the tabletop you can build your mech from scratch, it would be nice if that would also be possible in mwo, am the only one who thinks like that?
please give your opinion about it.

Not going to happen. They rely on limits in the mech lab and numerous canon mechs for balance and even to make money.

i would pay MC for being able to build my own mech, but how would the make that? they would have to model a huge ammount of parts, and have to make each part work with each other together.
what i could think of is that you could be able to change some parts of existing mechs, for example have two small ac barrels on the atlas instead of one if you use 2 small ACs,
