probably missed this, am re-reading the notes just in case but while i'm re-reading the notes i gotta ask:

Has DX11 been implemented yet?

What about 3D?

I was under the impression it would be in this patch.

if not...will it be in the next patch?

I have to agree that removing the knockdown for smaller mechs vs larger mechs makes no sense. Is it just for testing? If i am running full speed in a commando into a atlas, I do not expect to just walk through him but to pay the price. Makes sense to leave that in the game. Now scouts will just hang on your 6 all day. Come on man lets keep that feature. Makes you have to actually pilot that 85mph machine.

Cheers

Why do I now have to have a minimum number of heat sinks to enter combat?

A change (reduction) in knocked down time would've been better than completely removing it IMO, Jenner strafing is much less of a thrill now and it simply makes little sense that an atlas+jenner collision has no effect. It did cause some teleporting issues so If you removed it to work on that, good luck

For the rest, thanks for the awesome patch!

Good patch overall, I just wish the notes were more complete. TAG now weighs 1 ton, there's a harsher limit on which XL engines can go into a particular mech, and who knows how many other changes that aren't listed in the notes.

Just played a round-- you have GOT to reinstate Crash/fall- Jenners charging an Atlas with Impunity makes no sense.

narf... great... i thought i could elite my centurion this weekend (CN9-AL is (was?) finished, CN9-A only needs ~100xp to finish basic) *sigh*

and yeah, what about quitting the game without taskmanager?

I logged in and out several times, no alt-tabbing needed now it seems. Good deal.

Straight away, the removal of the Centurion is a big mistake, seems like us players havent been spending enough MC to keep it. Would have liked to been able to finished the Centurion line. I was hoping that i could now finish the Raven line after accumulating 100,000xp on one of them with this new patch, now i got that but had to sacrifice another mech lineup? not cool lads, not cool. Seems to me like a shamful Money ploy. Sure, add the the Len-Lo-Wang as an additional Mech and its nice to see some customisation to a mech. But also have the skin as a MC option to add to the rest on the Centurions. Please guys add, fix, balance content, dont remove and then break other items. Sure the CN9-D will have to be delayed if it requires additional content, but deliberately breaking a line of mechs to offer a "hero" mech is not right.

Other than that, the rest of the patch looks good. the Balance of the C-bills is a step in the right direction, and the introduction of the different armour will allow for some interesting builds. Not sure tho on the lack of being knocked over. Made a huge contribution tot he game, sure the falling was a little glitched, but would much rather have it in that not.

I believe you have the ability to add and remove them as needed. But your need to have a certain number to safely drop into battle.

This patch is sux.

4 men groups is sux! What if we are 5, 6 or 7, what if someone need to be afk for a while? break our team? play single lance? **** off men this is stupid.

Removing Centurion AL to push players buy a YLW stupid stravag mech - sux!

People starts standing in semi AFK and waiting, then finishing damaged mechs to awoid repear costs - SUX

No new map - sux

I had disconnections ech third match - sucks!

And no more collisions - stupid mega ultra arcade freeborn fail and SUX!

Still weapons rebalance need to be checking out. W8 for more feedback...

Highly disappointed at the missing Centurion. I hope there's a good reason beyond selling the 'hero' mech for real money.

Missing Centurion, as described, relies on Artemis...which isn't finished.

One, we need the centurion AH back, no reason to remove it (the premium mech gives a CBIll bonus, why did you need to utterly kill the AH build just to make the YLW look better? Just comes across to me as a bit of a money grab.

Also, engines are now even worse it seems. You get less heatsinks up until 250 (250/25 = 10, free heatsinks attached.) Less than 250? You start losing heatsinks. So 245 = 9 HS, just like old system. However now instead of getting free heatsinks for that really heavy engine (say a 350) you now just get 10 heatsinks like a 250, but you get the "option" to put in 4 more heatsinks (one per 25 engine rating like before), but these heatsinks, while not taking up critical space (which they didn't do before anyways), cost you tonnage to put on. So we now have heavier engines with less heatsinks for said tonnage. Joy.

Mmm, the -AH required artemis? As the -D still isn't in, but our -AH has been "magically transformed."
