Sure but thats the CN9-D, which as stated requires the Artemis, but they have removed one of the already in place Centurions, like Whoops said "Just comes across to me as a bit of a money grab.".

Had I been referring to the Centurion that had never been added, this point would be valid. As many others have pointed out, I refer to the Centurion that magically disappeared in a cloud of desired revenue.

I don't mind the restart, though losing all my xp upon the reset to OB will not be cool. Overall seems like a good job...and memory leak is fixed for those that have not tried it yet. Thanks guys!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I am so glad that my Commando will no longer be bowled over. It was no fun and added nothing to the game. Please do NOT listen to anyone who says it should be brought back.

The other fixes sound great and the new interface is looking sweet. Questions, when is open beta? And when will we be getting a new game mode? Sorry, had to ask, but I am really glad with this patch so keep up the great work.

LOL Yes, let's not have any realism in this game. We want it to be a magical fairyland, where Mechs can just run through each other like they do the trees. What the hell...

I'm still very opposed to the idea of Hero 'Mechs. They're supposed to be a single machine unique to an individual MechWarrior, and now everyone and their dog has access to them as if they come off an assembly line.

Still patching, but the changes to MechLab seem like a bad idea. I have to know what I want in each section so I can save it before looking at another area of my 'Mech? How is this an improvement to "flow"?

EDIT: Changes to MechLab are fine. I totally misunderstood the patch notes.

so why are people required to spend mc to unlock all the skills for centurions? and where did the AH go?

Want to add my voice to those saying THANK YOU for taking out knockdowns.

Once they have been fixed and are working more as intended (melee combat, pilot stabilisation skills etc) sure, put then back in.

For the first time in forever though, the commando is fun to play EVERY MATCH. I really can't stress this enough. Previously, maybe one in three matches were enjoyable. Now every match is fun again.

[EDIT] To provide further feedback on other patch items:

1) If no change has been made in loadouts / modules etc, consider removing the prompt that says "Changes will be lost", makes moving between tabs difficult.
2) to those complaining about Centurion and calling it a money grab. Are you insane? You can't wait 2 weeks for the Centurion to be put back in while they are also going to give you Artemis? The vast majority of players won't even notice as they won't get to Elite in the next two weeks anyway. Such a non issue.
3) Jump Jets are so much better now! More manoeuvrability, better control and I really feel like its massively improved. Still only have to take a single JJ though. I actually tested with 5 and travelled 110m, with 1 went the standard 130m.
4) Improved hit detection. It may only be because servers are getting hammered but my testing showed the opposite was happening for latency over 200 (IE Aussies). Direct hits and leading target registered no damage. Firing BEHIND the target however was hitting lol. Will test this further and record some footage. Hopefully evens out once servers not being smashed like gnats.

Overall opinion so far though is 5/5 - huge improvements. Love the new tutorial videos - although on the targeting one they forgot to include a zoom in when showing TAG symbol. The video zooms in for NARC, but TAG is very hard to see.

Well I Hate new bonuses from skills, they are way to big. 2.5% there maybe 5% there but 10% 30% 7.5% Nah. I do not agree with that concept. Skill should be mastered by you not some big bonuses to fire and cooldown rates. It feels wrong and cheap. I still worked for that 2.5% speed increase and even it wasn't much speccialy in slower mechs it didnt felt like some magical boost, but now 10%? I dont like the way this is going, in my opinion any way.

I miss my CN9-AH :) it had all the Basic and Elite done too... my only disappointment so far, cause the Centurion is my 'Mech of choice...

You can stop standing because it is temporary. Knockdowns are going right back in as soon as they are fixed.

This seems like a great patch overall. I just hope the reconsider the light mech knockdown. I play a Jenner too and it actually feels rewarding to know it takes skill pilot a mech running that fast and dancing around bigger mechs without getting knocked over.
