In MW, I started out as Mccann... just liked the sound of the name. On everything else now I am Tech-Daddy, or some derivation thereof.

I have not identified myself as Mccann since I stopped playing MW, and it feels nice to "toss on the garb and make use of the instruments of war".... :P

Rogan Lysis - MPBT:EGA I can't remember why I named my character that name, '92 was a long time ago.

Rovan Lysis - SWG Rogan was a reserved name.

Now I'm back to where I started.

As far as I can remember it was always Kottonmouth. A mix of homage to a nasty mean snake (Cottonmouth) and a band that I was into back when MW3 was the newest and greatest. I thought about changing it for the new one... but I figure Ill always be Kotton when it comes to the mechwarriorin'

I had the nic Tank in the BT pen and paper game and carried that over into MPBT on Genie and the MW2 modem challenge ladder on Compuserve. The simpler names are harder to reserve, so I made it more unique to avoid the constant conflicts. The sig is still from the old Compuserve days.

Have used Aggammenonn for something like 12 years. Since its deliberately misspelled I've never had a conflict with it.

I was Ghost23 for a long, long time and I actually started that one in Battletech. Never Ghost had to be with the 23 because of it's "industrial and somewhat mystical relevence" when I was younger and still use to this day. Switched it over to PropagandaWarMachine, PropagandaWar and PropagandaWar23 a few years back though. In the end I left Ghost23 with Thanny.

Used to be Hell Hound, as I was a part of a couple lances of "Hell Jumpers" until we had a pitched battle with Steiner one day. I was the commanding officer at the time, and we moved our 3 lances of mixed heavies and mediums forward. Immediately Steiner launched their ambush, and we were outnumbered, outweighed, and outgunned, at least three to one. I called for an immediate fall back, after about half a minute of non stop fighting. I noticed one of my lancemates mechs had a damaged leg, and literally covered him back to the fall back zone. I then stayed behind to fight to the death, and killed two Atlas's crippled a third when they finally forced me to eject. I was considered captured, and then could not play for about three days, when I was finally "rescued" I was told by my teammates that my actions were comparable in game to that of a guardian angel. Guardian stuck, and was called that until I pulled a rotation through the Wolf in one of our last "resupply runs,". There I was challenged by a ranking Star Commander, he thought it was unfitting that I should have command over Clan Warriors. Longest fight ever, we spent at least fifteen minutes just picking away at each other, when I finally got an edge. With the kill somebody said I should do a ToP to become a Wolf. I did, but was assigned back to my old unit in the Dragoons, have been that ever since.

As for other callsigns I used Wolf Dragon in aerial combat sims.

uh ... **** I wanna be on your team! my first and only callsign was DraggoonPlatoon, but sadly that was taken in MW:O so i went with the name of the main charecter of a fanfic i am writing ;)

My first callsign??? Oh man, even if I just count the mechwarrior/battletech franchise, that's been a while! Better part of 20 years! Still, I think my first callsign was "Maverick", after that movie Top Gun, but I'm not sure... I might have used a different callsign earlier in life.

More recently, I've gone by everything from "TripleHex" (Tribes, MWLL, others) to my all-time favorite, "God". Just think about it... "You killed God" or even better, "God fragged you" :) . I've also gone by the handle of "Loser" and "No One", both for similar reasons. For obvious reasons though, I stuck with TripleHex within this forum... I don't want to scare anyone into thinking God is actually busy posting on forums rather than running the Universe! lol

In my first online BT game I used my first name as my handle because I couldn't come up with anything cool. It was just "Lars". The handle DocBach came from a Vietnamese squad leader I had who couldn't pronounce my last name so he called me "DocBok" as I was the medic and the last four letters of my last name was "bach". Later I was called DocRock as people mispronounced the first part of my last name, Reich as Rock, but I've kept the DocBach handle as most of my earlier forum names used it and I like to keep consistency so I don't have to remember a million handles and passwords for every site I go to.

Necron... I got it from Unreal Tournament... There was a bot in that game named Necroth, I dropped the 'th' and added an 'n' and bam, that's me. I have used it for years and years now. The 'PK' part came from Clan PowerKill, which was the MW4 clan I was a member of for over 2 years.
