Recently I've been playing the beta and enjoying every minute of it. Though i cant help but notice the very few different mech types. It would be nice if the variety of mechs that was in mechwarrior 4 would slowly leek a few over to mwo. Here's to hoping for mechs like the bushwacker and thantolos.

That has all the announced mechs, not all are in the game yet. They have more unannounced ones as well.
As for the ones you mention, bushwacker is over 3 years away and the thanatos is several years after the clans invade (which has not happened yet)

MWO runs the same time-line as real world. In other words, one day in the Real World is one day in MWO. Clans aren`t supposed to hit till next spring iirc. And many mechs are years away as Noth said. Now, knowing this, MAYBE somewhere down the way they`ll do a "time warp" for lack of a better term. Only time will tell(no pun intended lol).
