I decided to give Babylon 5 another shot by just skipping Season 1 entirely. Love it, so I'm in a sci-fi mood as of late.

I'll definetly forget a few, so if you want more options, tell me what to add to the poll. I'm prejudice against anime for some reason though, so I likely won't be adding Macross/Gundam/whatever stuff in it. This is focussing not so much on who would win (as some universes have massive advantages by default), but rather on which is your favorite design and why. Note, I'm focussing mainly on the "hero fighters", which is why you aren't seeing the TIE Fighter and Deathglider up their right now. Might change later.

Starfury easily. It looks so mean and tough, as if everything on the ship is designed to help it kill things. It is much faster then a Viper (20G's or so) and has a scary loadout. Also, it has a turning radius of nothing and obeys the laws of physics.

At first, I thought that I had to vote for the X-Wing. After all, I was raised on Star Wars.

Then I thought, "Screw Lucas."

Voted for the Starfury. I love the Babylon 5 series, and I love that the Starfury actually engages enemies like a spacecraft could/would. It helps that the Starfury just looks badass.

Though my personal favorite is a VF-25S from Macross Frontier.

As much as I love B5 I have to say Broadsword from Wing Commander. Which was in the cartoon and the movie as well as every game (to my knowledge).

havent seen it in Darkest Dawn yet but I'm working thru the "tutorial" campaign right now. if u like WC give it a shot its free and pretty awesomesauce looking.

Starfury. I liked it from the day I got to pilot one.

Other opitons, well... X-Wing is ugly, Viper is its copy-paste, and I never heard of the others.

nitpick wedge was piloting the x wing that blew the power regulator tower thing on the death stars reactor, the A wing that flew into the 2nd death star and then flew back out with the ties, was tycho not wedge

Starfury ever since the NASA guys asked Joe if he minded that they were thinking of using it as a basis for a space-based heavy loader.

Of those that are currently listed, the Starfury is my favorite.

Well it has to be the Starfury, NASA was so impressed with the design that asked they JMS if they could use it for a zero-g cargo handler. Apparently he said yes on the condition that the it be called a Starfury.

Everything else on the list would make a terrible starfighter.
