How awesome is this?! This is the player of 'Greywolf' from 3056, and 'Elena Yazaki' from several others. As an admin I was 'Aldramech' and in later games I was Ryvan Haketa or Anton Kedrov. I suspect most will remember Elena, sister of Yoshi, the best. I'm currently piloting a custom Atlas called Shinigami, and enjoying the Beta a lot! We always dreamed of something like this, as players AND as admins. Now ... I have to go get paper and pen, so I can write names down and re-connect with people. Feel free to send a friend invite - I'd enjoy keeping in touch!

Friend invite??? Get your happy buttocks over to the website (link in my .sig file) and register. We're kidnapping (elderly napping?) all former MUSE and MUX pilots for our merc unit. Even if you don't end up with MUX when the game goes live, stay on the website and hang out with the rest of us old timers. You won't believe some of the names you'll recognize.

Another '56 checks in

kuryakin - OOC
waverly - admin

And if anyone remembers what the heck my IC name was in CW, this old fart would appreciate it. Wasn't seen much, though.

I'd been in touch with Ranna until a few years ago - the guy was living in Austin at the time, selling D20 books

I remember a few of the names listed here, and would like to hear from abadon and (I think) skylark

Geeze, almost twenty years.

Wow. I step away for a few months and you've all gotten organized wth a merc group and everything!

Sorry I wasn't around during the organizing of that. Been busy over on World Of Tanks and the World of Warplanes Beta. Been signing in every 2-3 weeks on the regular beta though. Catch me there. And yes Irish, I just signed up for M.U.X. :)

Hey Bianca, were you in WoWp alpha? I was, until I got dizzy from going around in so many circles and gave up on it. :P

I visited them all briefly but at the time I was far to busy wizzing places like Dune and Gohs and Fantasia, the original Pern, list goes on and on. Those were the days eh? Had to use your imagination rather than being spoonfed graphics and ******** about the lack of realism. B)

Gohs? Oh my, I remember that place and had a few characters on there (Aina je Mavradi is probably the only name of a character I remember). Played Dune very briefly back in the day, too. That's beyond the scope of Battletech, though!

OMG... I remember this game... too bad I had to stop when the computer center stopped letting us play games till the wee hours of the night.

CKell - Do you remember some newbie pilot that liked fast mechs and jumped around alot? Might have been either Son Gokuu or something with Dragonstar in it? Its been so long I can't remember my name from back then...

Yes... All you old timers come to the website and join MUX. I will reiterate that it doesn't matter if you plan on joining another unit at some later time (although we would rather keep you with us). At least come hang out and share some old war stories.

Okay, it's Saturday night. Since we're all WAY past dating age, that means we're home tonight reading the forums and can go over to the MUX website to register!

Come on, MUSErs and MUXers, shuffle on over! :(
