In a group; full lance of pirahnnas, drop 1 med & the small, along with a bit of speed.
Rounds take forever, but when they are done, no more enemy mechs!
In-game (not commanding full lance) the Rifleman. Or Mad Cat.

If what we're really talking about is FAVORITE mechs, mine would have to be the B configuration of the Stormcrow. Six ER Medium Lasers and a UAC 20. You just can't beat the power for the size, speed, and sheer awesomeness.
