I've been messing around with the mechlab today trying different builds and mainly downgrading my Cent getting rid of the FF and the DHC to save myself on repair bills Now when you switch armor types the armor that you switched from is removed and placed in your inventory...so I have 330 points of standard armor on it now and 330 points of ff armor in my inventory. Now something that I noticed that when you go to do the repairs is that it dosen't just spend all your Cbills it uses what items you have in inventory first.
For instance I had the standart armor from the Cent in my inventory after I changed it to FF armor. I bought a stock Hunchback and in the first match I got ripped apart a la robocop one. And I had auto repair off so I could keep track on repairs..and after getting 50% of my armor blown off the repair bill was 0 it used the standard armor from the Cent I had replaced. So one little hint if your about to get rid of a Mech to build up Cbills or buy a new one then strip the expensive stuff off first! Shure the mech will lose value...but it would take the hurt off thoes painful repair bills! This goes for weapons, armor, ammo, and I'm pretty shure engines too don't know yet

It does not replenish weapons, engines, or equipment from your inventory. It does replenish ammo and armor, though.
