The true frequency of these occurances needs to be reported more often. Maybe, hopefully, someday we can actually dispel the myth that all lopsided victories are premades, and facing a premade is an automatic lopsided loss.

Once the matchmaker sorts out the derps, eases newbies in, and weights pre-grouped status as a variable instead of ham-fisted separation, hopefully the problem will vanish entirely.

I've had plenty of 8-0 matches(or close to it) when dropping as a pug. It happens! doesn't take a lot of coordination to stick together and support your team, the main problem with PUGS is uncoordination and letting the base get ganked

Sorry my Fraps didn't Record didn't hit the button I guess. I usally do Rec matches but needless to say I have to say thank you because it was nice break from people just running around with there heads cut off in a PUG. I took charge and they followed so it was a nice break from 8 vs 1vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 as PUG's usally go it was. Organized and people worked together.

What would be nice is if there are 4-mech groups dropping into a public match, that they ONLY drop into a match that has another 4-mech group. Meaning if it's a pub with no more that a 2-3 mech group and a bunch of loners, then no more than a 2-3 mech group gets added to the loners on the opposing force. Nothing makes a PUG match suck for a newb more that dropping with a team facing a coordinated team of at least four players in voice comms. Granted, that's what the C3 option is supposed to afford/effect, but you can't make people use the provided in-game communications.

I disagree. Nothing makes a PUG match suck more than watching your teammates scatter to the winds and get picked off by the wolfpack individually. The other side doesn't need to even have a pair of grouped players for that.

Back when The servers were having balance problems me and one of my friends drop well something happen it only gave us 3 players vs there 8 . My buddy Kolten66 on vent said Well lets do what we can Before its our time to go . lol I said ok our other guy just ran out there and Went head long into them died and Dcd. Well we found us a high spot on Frost with 2 Guassakat And took out as many as we could Before Meeting our maker. Few hrs later i get a messaged on the forums that we died with honor and that there team was scared before it was over with that they where not going to get us out of our perch and dead before the end of the match. Thats the kind of community MWO is . Forget the trolls they will come and go But this game was build around a Honor base and That is why i love Mechwarrior

Why are custom made mechs called premade? Their not premade, their custom. Premade would fit closer to trial mechs, because their premade for you. No one buys a mech and uses its premade equipment, therefore its custom.

Ummm....this has absolutely nothing to with customizing a mech? A premade is a group of players who join the matchmaker as a group (usually of 8 players), so that they all join the game together. Thus, their group is "premade" because is was made before joining the game.

I've had a few pug matches that were great fun. They were tight games and it felt like battletech, not rush the base.

Honestly, the best teamwork and general gameplay experiences I've yet had in MWO were found on PUG matches with absolutely no voice communications at all - I've often run into good, team-oriented players, whereas on Teamspeak or whenever I'd drop with a premade regular, all they'd do is whine and blame the rest of us for their losses.

Apparently, some people consider it an act of charity to take their heavily customized Assault 'Mech into a match with random players.

Oh gotchya, thanks. Always sounded like people were talking about mechs.
