Well, this is my idea. Before game goes Open Beta, add everyone that posts here to friends, so we all lone wolves know who to play with.
Yeah, but we will suffer that "learning curve" by having to play with them because we don't have a pre-made lance. And obviously, the premades will be winning a lot, until they find another premade lance. But at the ratio of newcomers/premades that'd 1 every 20 matches.
Let me get this straight. You want to add friends to your list so you can play with them. And this will get you away from having to see questions in chat that most people have asked themselves? This won't stop you from playing with them, there just may be fewer on your own pre-made is all. Because by your own made-up math you'll only drop against another pre-made 1 in 20.
Expanding your friend list and droping with them is a good thing. To do it because you don't want to read questions from players starting a game with only a 9 min youtube video explaining the basics is not only elitist and failed logic, but borders on poor taste. The best part, your forum profile is a whole 14 days old. TWO WEEKS, such a grisled vet you are.
Any new players that are still reading this and want help, come visit house-marik.net we'll happily drop with you.

Further more, by closing the possibility of grouping with new people, you limit yourself to a very small pool of people, whom may or may not be skilled. Think of all the skilled people that have yet to join MechWarrior ranks. I for one will be honored to drop with the new wave of warriors who prove themselves in battle.
For the record, keep me off your list.
P.S.
Newbies reading this, or those who have yet to join a group, come on over to www.skye-rangers.net, we'd be happy to have you.

The point of this thread is for people to join together to trash the new players.. If you keep it up, what new players will there be? You'll kill this game. Go be elitist within your own little circle of friends and don't harass new players and scare them away from the game.
+1 Valk,
