NO! Gundammit you wanna talk about the two greatest failures of my unit when it came to inhibiting my being a badass:
1. I qualified expert on all weapon systems from m9 to m203, 240B (my baby, I was a 240 gunner the majority of my infantry career) to to Mark 19. I shot the best out of my entire platoon (38/40 TWICE IN A ROW, same day, same range, iron sight m16) and they were going to send me to sniper school. I'm halfway done assembling my ghillie and finishing my packing list and they tell me I'm not going because THEY CANT LET THE ONLY 240B GUNNER TO QUALIFY EXPERT TO BECOME A SNIPER. I finished the range with 80 odd rounds. I gave em to less adequate gunners so they weren't stuck at the range all day. I got yelled at by my squad leader all the time for not firing in burst and taking out targets with 1-2 rounds.

2. Still being in the top 5 marksmen in my Company, the CO decided it'd be a great idea to send MOUNTED (gundam Bradley drivers) for the schutzenschnur badge. I about lost it. I was so close to just taking leave for a week, finding a german soldier to sign me on to their range, and do the damn qual myself. 2/6 INF 1AD, ugh. GATOR D*CK wrapped in barbed wire and rolled in glass.

I can't talk about this anymore, I'll end up taking manic psychotic dumps all over the place and just generally be an unpleasant individual.
