Skyefox, I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, bud.

Lots and lots of people posting pics, now. That's cool.

Old troubles. I cut that TOW's wire a long time ago. Still ****** me off but hey, according to the law, it's not a criminal offense to wear medals you haven't earned; it's just considered bad manners.

Speed edit:^ that was sarcasm ^ Don't be scum and wear shi*t you didn't earn.

I live with my sister. She has about 13 snakes living in our house. All are Australian, none are venomous, but many are very cranky.
Oh 14 snakes, she just picked up a young Darwin Carpet Python with the albino gene.
There are 3 particular Stimpsons Pythons that are very handlable and she brought them out to meet my girlfriend a few weeks back. As it's the most recent photo of myself that I have access to, it seems like a good thread to post this in.

This is me.

Here is my sister. I think she'll play a scout role with that antenna up.
Or maybe it's her attempt as a Boba Fett cosplay outfit.
Posted Image

And my GF, who isn't overly comfortable around almost any creature, but these pythons are just so easy going it didn't take long before we had all 3 of them on her.

NO! Gundammit you wanna talk about the two greatest failures of my unit when it came to inhibiting my being a badass:
1. I qualified expert on all weapon systems from m9 to m203, 240B (my baby, I was a 240 gunner the majority of my infantry career) to to Mark 19. I shot the best out of my entire platoon (38/40 TWICE IN A ROW, same day, same range, iron sight m16) and they were going to send me to sniper school. I'm halfway done assembling my ghillie and finishing my packing list and they tell me I'm not going because THEY CANT LET THE ONLY 240B GUNNER TO QUALIFY EXPERT TO BECOME A SNIPER. I finished the range with 80 odd rounds. I gave em to less adequate gunners so they weren't stuck at the range all day. I got yelled at by my squad leader all the time for not firing in burst and taking out targets with 1-2 rounds.

2. Still being in the top 5 marksmen in my Company, the CO decided it'd be a great idea to send MOUNTED (gundam Bradley drivers) for the schutzenschnur badge. I about lost it. I was so close to just taking leave for a week, finding a german soldier to sign me on to their range, and do the damn qual myself. 2/6 INF 1AD, ugh. GATOR D*CK wrapped in barbed wire and rolled in glass.

I can't talk about this anymore, I'll end up taking manic psychotic dumps all over the place and just generally be an unpleasant individual.

See that guy? No, not the guy who won the championship ping pong or ranger boat challenge but the best M4 Marksman in the company? Yeah baby, that's me. I got to go to SDM school which was pretty awesome and they promised me Sniper school and a promotion if I stayed with the battalion because I put in a transfer to go to Civil Affairs. Then when I agreed to stay they ran out of funds and cancelled the school and laterally promoted me to Corporal instead of Sergeant.

Nair you've got the most wicked moustache of all time. Kamikaze, you should come join up with us and play with some more depraved, angry, politically incorrect veterans. You too Skye, quit being lame, House Steiner is pretty much House Davion with the FedCom anyway.

In case it's too obscure of a reference, I was dressed as The Doctor from when Tom Baker played the part.

I wanted a black one, but this one was the 1st one off the boat at the time. I couldn't wait 2 more weeks, so settled for the white one.

If 12 year old call of duty players cussing like sailors while sitting on their car beds regaling you with tales about how they sexually dominated your mother last night hasn't broken the internet, I'm pretty sure you're safe.

Hahahahaha I nearly spat my drink out.

sorry... I won't be able to get a good pic posted probably til late august... hopefully by them i will have my red hitatare sugata finished. very few pictures of me currently exist... there are a couple on my facebook page from the SCA with me in them. I might even try to up the ante a li'l for my fellow kurita and make a kurita dress uniform... they are not that complicated.

Yes I do have several hobies that involve cosplay on one level or another: Airsoft (converting kit from merc to ghost inspiired kit), Historical recreation, late steampunk/early dieselpunk, anime (though I have not gotten into cosplay there, I am not above doing so if I had friends who where interested<G>...

oh, and Kashira Shinore-hime, your real eyes are far more beautiful than your cosplay contacts<G>
