so it is as intended that DHS are of minimal benefit to outright detrimental if you load a bunch?????
and Large Pulse Lasers should shut down a mech after almost no damage rather than minimal damage?

Please get your source books out and realize that the numbers were tested for 40 years before your game.
That is 40 years of math folks! Not "it feels" but math.
Want to double rate of fire and armor, double everything else, including heat dissipation. Not some things and on some weapons.
