1. Pre-made teams, we accept your composed of good players and that you will be grouped against newbie pugs in the game. But please don't go flaming or trolling them for being new, we want players to stay with this game for the long run, if you go constantly trolling them they will logoff and find a new game, as pre-mades your sort of leaders of the community in-game, please keep that in mind.
2. Keep your negative attitudes towards new players to a minimum, please focus on offering kind advise or tips, don't go flaming a new person for walking to slow or not staying with the group. They are here to learn so please keep that in mind. I know flaming and trolling are a part of MMO life but try to keep it civil, at least until we are deeper into the Open Beta.
3. Im seeing a growing stigma towards anyone who didn't play in the Closed Beta, I understand you want to play with experienced players but please try and be welcoming to Open Beta players, we want this game to be big, and that will only happen by having all kinds of players, not just a small majority of experienced ones.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in the Open Beta, lets make this game epic!

Be kind to the Open Beta players.

I highly doubt there will be much of 1, 2, or 3. The kindest thing anyone can do for the new players is balance the matchmaking system as much as possible.

Thanks OP. I agree. A lot of the success of this game depends upon the community we build and the way we treat new players. The more players we have in our community, the better it will be for all of us. We need targets as well as team mates. Be gracious in both your victories and losses.

One kindness we can do is to point them to a good guild like the 312th thunderclad leagion.

Its amazing how many premades i see already. Had a steiner scout lance cause a new player to rage quit in his awesome we need tonnage based match making lol idrk as i paid for my commando and it is just fun to play it but trial mechs are painful against founders and everyone nows it from CB =/ no one is going to make it out of the grind before quitting we shouldve had starter funding

Relax all. We were new once. And they'll learn the game. Fast.

Part of this is a result of the Elite founders (myself included). I've love to see the stats on the breakdown of elite mech selection. I'm betting Atlases are by far the most common.
