The design of the site looks better than earlier. After PGI reworking launcher and site I can't wait for similar rehaul to be done with the game client.

I browsed the game/battlemechs directory of the site, here are some notices:

JR-7K armor written as "24" (looks like it's clipped "240-ish", though 238 is the maximum for 35-tonner).

For some mechs, due to the width of the render interfering with stats bars, bars are of different scale for different variants. Examples of good design: Atlas, Cicada, Hunchback, almost all light mechs (I believe one version of the Commando has this issue, if only slightly), Catapult, . Examples of bad design: Centurion, Dragon (try clicking three different versions and see how the tonnage bar is different in size), Awesome (it's very obvious how the right arm barrel of the AWS-9M pushes the stats bars aside). For greater convenience this should be fixed by painting mech render OVER stats bars or vice versa or moving/rescaling the renders.

BTW the renders are cute and I want to see them ASAP in the "Create New Mech" shop of the MechLab. It's also pretty obvious that torso gun pod of the Atlas should be reworked to represent the difference between AC/10, AC/20 and Gauss Rifle on different variants.

Addition after browsing "factions":

I like how the government of Dracs is described as "Autocrazy" - this makes some sense!

Capital of the Rasalhague is Reykjavik (as of Terran Iceland), not "Reyljavik".

Oh, and "House Laio" looking just as "House Laid" due to the font is funny too, though I picked that from the forum... haven't noticed myself at first.

To me it looks awful. The names of threads are much harder to read and the tag 'MWO: Forums' in my tab makes it impossible to know which topic is which, when I have more than 5 tabs open.

I forgot to state that I'm only talking about the site, not the forums. New forums are awful: fonts causing headache, broken search engine, unable to go to your forum profile from user profile on the site.

+1 on thread list needing readability improvement.

Also news on front page need a look, the design looks too chaotic, makes it difficult to scan the text.

It all looks awesome, but is a bit style over function right now. Some people actually like to read what's on the site and it's a bit hard on the eyes right now.

The biggest problem with the new site is the fact Alt+P does not make ' anymore.

Not a big issue to the people who cannot write, but annoying to everyone else.

New forums are BS, rest of the site looks good but there's nothing special - you don't need the rest of the side. And redeeming your code from pcgamers not working.

Further, this site still can't save my login data.

- Profile shows realname - no warning about this, no permission request, very unmature, shame on you PGI )
- Profile "mechwarrior credits" doesn't do anything, is this ingame statistics ? if not:
- Where are the ingame statistics?
- Where is the beta guide section? I still find some topics through search, but they seam just to hang on the server without integration into the structure whatsoever, cannot stress the importance of guides for all the new guys enough!
- Design: A menu in the top is easyer to use, all instruments in one place is good. New art ist good too. Blog-style page layout sucks tho.

Well, the search engine is still broken. Still cannot search two, three letter words like AMS, PPC, LRM. Much liking the old website better tyvm.

Also, breadcrumb links are useless right now: Forums and Topic link to the same thing while there's no link to the thread itself on top (which I sometimes use to go to the top or simply click instead of hitting ctrl-r). Breadcrumb is similarily broken in other places on the site (ie. links that don't point anywhere, while they ought to point to the a section index)

Submitted a ticket for this. I'm not able to read the forums on an iPhone. I was able to read the old forums fine, and I can navigate the current forums and subforums fine, but tapping on either topic names or page numbers doesn't do anything but make what I tapped on blink. Running iOS 5.1.1, tried in both Safari and Chrome.

Any other mobile users experiencing issues?
