e: also i talked to jaderaven about that weird planetside 2 thing and i guess someone from the decentish goon group thought it would be hilarious if he told you guys that i was responsible for every big drama thing, despite it all happening literally months before i ever played the game. planetside 2 is going o.k. btw since you asked, a massive(size wise), horribly misogynistic, racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc etc group just quit the game since their netcode-breaking strafing macros got busted and their favourite overpowered weapon sight that they used on everything got nerfed

Yesterday I pug dropped into a group of Steiners. Yet, to my surprise, what do I hear them say over comms? SQUAWK! Not once, but again SQUAWK! Now, I've dropped onto the same team as some of you, and you don't seem so bad. You treat your teammates with respect and not once have I seen you give an arrogant response to the opposing team.

But I don't know what to think of these guys in blue blurting out your slogan. Where these guys double agents? Where they trying to bring shame upon house Liao? I asked them, "So does Steiner say SQUAWK! now too"? They went off on a tangent by making a non-nonsensical reference about Katrina and prostitutes... had I been thinking about our history, I should have asked them to clarify if they meant Katherine or Katrina, but at that point in the game I lost interest and wanted to just shoot stuff.

That is all.

It's possible, but I've seen all of one goon player who ran with a premade who wasn't Laio or Lone Wolf. This may well be a case of cultural diffusion.
