It's really easy to join a group too just drop down into the looking for group channel and wait until someone ask for more players in a certain drop ship it usually doens't take longer than 5 minutes.

After a month of running in groups on the TS servers my XP per battle was over 1k, I had over 500 wins per 100 losses and my Kills per death was at 1.5 and climbing.
Running with other random guys on the TS servers was the only change.
Hook up guys

Very friendly group of people. You can usually find a group to drop with just about anytime. If you're just feeling lost in the game, hop into their Education Center channel and ask questions.
(Shhhh, Pheydra has something to say. Everybody be quiet!)

Seriously, most of us core Beta Testers started on the old Helmer unofficial MWO TS3 and it was one of the key mean of communication about advice and builds that you could ever ask for. You want to shorten your learning curve time sink, then get on the TS3 and ask some of the vets some questions. Most of them are willing to help....most.

For those of you uncertain about what to do, Pheydra and the rest of the educational team have been helping Mechwarriors since the Closed Beta began and know their stuff, sure whenever the training groups comes across a premade the battle doesn't normally go their way but they sure as hell put up a great fight and fare much, much better than lone wolves.
I highly recommend people join the TS discussions, a lot of the companies using these servers are nice people who are more interested in the fun than winning at all costs. Unfortunately though the win at all cost teams are around, you can spot them all running twin Gauss catapults.
