I think it's safe to say Jack was too busy sulking to pay overmuch attention to the actual opponents. I also figure that he's just been watching a battle scene - so they probably have a faux-combine paint scheme too.
I'll have him abruptly notice that they're not combine later.

You kow I didn't think about there being a balcony... I don't see why there wouldn't be one. So I guess there is, and D hadn't found it.

Heather rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Captain Zed doesn't fight Combines! He leads a group of mutli...moult...people from lots of diffrent nations, including the Combine! Individually, they are weak, but together (under his leadership) they are much better off. The Snakes are just a group of bandits who are trying to take over the Inner Sphere cause of their beliefs and twisted honour, and their resemblance to members of the Draconis Combine is purely coincidence!"

(It's a bit like the way so many villains during the Cold War had Russian accents (and were probably Communists) but were never actually outright Russian, or if they were, they were 'rogue agents'. It's still propaganda, just on a subtler level.)

I miss those days... When we 'knew' who the 'bad guys' were.

Was gonna keep typing, but computer started acting funny again. *contemplates throwing it off the balcony.* Then the kids started acting hyper (I think the bro-in-law gave them Pepsi...) but they're going to bed soon so I'll be a writing soon. Hopefully I still have some creative juices flowing then.

Seems fair mate, I'll try and get something out. Just not been in much of a writing mood lately - I can usually force it when I buckle down, because I enjoy it, so as long as I have a start point, I can go (Still not read Sparks' last post) but the last few days have been kind of mind boggling.
My brain shrinks away from having to think about things right now...
Hopefully I'll do some cleaning, shopping, eating and drinking and general sorting sh*t out today, maybe even get some study done, and be ready by the end of the day.
We can only hope.
But maybe...
Just maybe...
I might actually do, which would be kind of awesome.

Sixty millimeter missiles were Min's response. Four missiles plowed into the subway car near shearing it in half, the other two slammed into the lighter mech. One blasted into the left shoulder of the Commando which erupted in an orange fireball. The other slammed squarely into the mechs head, right over the black eyepatch shaped armor plate that D and K welded over the hole that was there when D got the mech from Slater. Stars exploded before Markus' eyes as his restraints bit deep into his shoulders as he was jossled about the command console.

Your post reminded me of it, especially with the Commando. Good times, good times.

Thanks Thom, your a tough act to follow = P

I was a tad worried between my lack of writing experience and general lack of RP experience those two posts wouldn't make since. But it seemed like everyone liked it so, crisis averted.

Thanks. I had to break it up into multiple post, I didn't want the internet to hiccup on me and loose everything again. That, and I kept being bugged or had to run some errand or another...

The last post was originally supposed to be from Kaylee's perspecive, watching it on the big wall mounted holovid at the casino... But I decided to ditch it in the end.

I shall endeavor to post tomorrow, but I have a social function to attend and it depends largely on how sober I am upon my return. :P

GW... you know that is going to be a long walk from the Dump to Solaris City, right? A hour long drive by hover auto or three hour by mech hauler. Also, Min is pretty beat up, he's not gonna be running far.

If you get a chance to post before I do. DeMarkus is pretty beat up too, heavy bruises and a cracked rib.

Whats the deal with moving time forward? I've got the writing bug but didn't want to move further into the next day if that'd mess something up.

Honestly we're really bad with that. But there's no prob with you advancing a day.

As for me, I do have a little post from Kay's, D's, Erin/Von Bremen's POV in mind, but it can wait till I sit down to type out something nice and long. Most likely this weekend with nothing planned to be more than a couple of paragraphs long.

Details friend, details. Also remember that Dylan is working to get himself back in shape as he went to the.... HAAR CHAK!!!! I COMPLETELY FORGOT!!!!! *sighs* Anyway, I forgot to put in he went to the gym once again to get a workout in, and a nice jog like that definitely helps the body. And Dylan will only be in for a small chit chat, not the usual, assassin chasing, guns blazing, gusto which I had to kill off. You ever went on a multiple mile hike? It is actually quite relaxing, something Dylan feels he needs. And I am sure he can find a bus a couple of miles out to finish on if he has to.

Excuse the explicatives, when I get extremely angry, I cuss in Mando'a.

You have no idea....

D's bruised really bad across his shoulders and abdomen from when he headbutted the Panther. And the 'Something heavy' that hit him in the side and ruptured his coolant vest was actually a bolt from where they bolted/welded the armor plated 'eyepatch' on One-Eye. I was thinking a cracked rib is in order for D.

I'll post as soon as I get the chance - iRL's been hectic and my ability to and enthusiasm for RP has just been through the floor. I'll abuse Vulpes and push through the day as soon as things calm down ><
I've to demo a program I wrote in 4 hours three months ago in...9 hours, fix some friends, get forms for accomodation next year printed and mailed, clean the house, and a variety of other rot. My brain is simply numb ><
