Or you could say one of the patrons at the club got a bit rough with you. Obviously he was drunk or amped on drugs and thought you stole money from him and roughed you up for it.

In game? not much. We're stuck on the 20th and 21st for like ever. It's currently early on the 22nd. Jack is in the hospital, Vulpes is gone, Sparky is _______, GW has a fight that night, DeMarkus is going to the hospital. Well that's my plan for him anyways.

Alrighty.

I'll have Nicky (I think that was the other stripper's name) pick up izzy from the Hospital (concussion) andtake her to her home (because she's not letting Izzy near the Stables and possible injuries).

Off I go! *whooshes away*

Solaris is broken up into 6 zones.
The International Zone which is basically a neutral zone containing the Spaceport and through the fluff of this RP a bit of other places, casinos, restaurants, motels, basic random things you'd find anywere. DeMarkus feels safest here so he rarely ventures far from there.
Kobe in the Draconis Combines's district. It contains Mt Ishiyama, Stone Mountain.
Montenegro is the FWL's district on Solaris, it contains the ever popular 'Factory' arena.
Cathay is the Capellan District. It's a sprawling Chinese/Russian slum zone along the Solaris River but contains nicer neighborhoods uphill from there. The arena in Cathay is called the Jungle.
Black Hills is the Davion Sector. Largely upscale all in all the arena there is called Boreal Ranch, a treasure of lostech, this arena uses holographic technology. (I'm really wondering if it's just the terrain that's holographic or if EVERYTHING can be holographic there. I.E. whole battlemech fights being nothing but a big sim.)
Silesia is the Steiner Zone, which contains the Coliseum. This arean uses a detonator grid which protects the bloodthirsty fans (who look on through a thick pane of Ferro-glass) from stray missiles and lasers.

A good rule of thumb as generic and stereotypical as it sounds, is to picture the various zones with whatever the basic nationality resides within.

Alrighty man. I'll just have Nicky reside at the edge of the International Zone.

Thanks a bunch :D

That's what I'm here for. Most of the buildings and places I've used have been in the International Zone.

The only think I can think of that I've used was the restaurant 'Paradise' in Kobe. Erin went there for a SSOA (Solaris Stable Owner's Association) meeting. It was where one of the SSOA's meetings took place in the novel 'Illusion's of Victory'

So uh. I've only read five Battletech Novels  Dark Ages ones to be exact. Never got around to reading more. I'll look up that one.

(In my defense, I got my Mechwarrior books from a Borders in LA. I moved to Texas years ago so no more Borders eith Battletech ;)

patriot's stand and a call to arms were the only decent ones in my opinion. but they are all better than endgame.

Endgame was cool, but it seemed like the author (Lauren Coleman?) had too much going on and just wanted to finish up the book as quickly as possible. Blaine Pardoe is still my face BT author, but I'm biased because I used to chat him up online back in the day... Nice guy.

I love me Archer Christifori even if he's one of Vicky Davion's lackeys.

If anyone is interested in getting into BT novels I highly recommend the Gray Death Saga: Decision at Thunder Rift, Mercenary Star, and The Price of Glory. Awesome books.

Grayson Death Carlyle is an example of a well written mary sue character.

*Holds up finger and opens his mouth to argue then closes it.*

I can't argue with that one. Let's see what comes to mind... He gunned down a Wasp using the MG mounted on a jeep, he made Lori shut down a surrender her Locust with a inferno launcher, he took out a Crusader and Marauder at the same time with a Shadow Hawk, let's see what else is there? He hacked into a computer that nobody else was able to, He displayed superior infantry skills when storming that base in Mercenary Star. Yeah, he's a mary sue. I just never noticed till right now.

Still like you said, well written. Unlike Kai Allard-Liao who fistfights Elementals when he's taking breaks from making every other MechWarrior in existance look silly.

you also forgot taking out a full battlemech regiment with a short battalion btw. oh, and taking on elements of 4 mech regiments plus at least a half a dozen others with maybe 2 companies of mechs and winning. taking out more than one marauder with a shadow hawk. all i got for the moment.

I wasn't positive on the odds, though I remember them being long... Superior tactics and trickery could help even them sometimes, but that's a bit much. I don't even think one of GW's characters would try those odds. LOL cheap shot.

EDIT: Cheap shot.
