Liz would be great. I was really looking forward to reading more about her. The mix of her being physically broken yet internally strong was intriguing and inspiring, and I've been tempted to do something similar in characters since, but have refrained because you seemed to have hit the nail on the head and I didn't want to do "Liz, but with a different name"

Ugh! *** whiskey! I hate that stuff. It tastes like paintstripper.
I don't actually know how to respond to that I hate the iRL stuff so much.
I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and assume in a little over a thousand years they could learn to make something decent, but I'm not sure they could make up that much ground in so short a time...

I reside next to Eastern Europe, drinking paint thinner is practically a national past time. :)

I love whiskey - just not the *** cr*p. We don't just love everything someone calls whiskey you know :P
@CG, decent would be a bottle of Teacher's Blend, good is most stuff with a year on the label, great stuff would be most whiskeys over 10-15 years. But then, I'm a student, so the really good stuff is just miles above my pay grade.

Decent is free. I like the stuff you guys make across the pond, but I just love the stuff they distill up in the Appalacia.. Not a fan of that sour mash stuff though...

I grew up in Kentucky, right by the "bourbon trail". My first job was at the Jim Beam distillery, so i'm super biased towards Appalachian bourbons. If its not coming out of Ky, or Tn, i don't really want it.
