I remember PlanetSide 2 was having this kind of memory leak issue on 32bit OS however their game was better coded can last for couple hours before crash, they were working to resolve the issue but i quited for a month and lost track with their status.

Like most MMOs, the MWO launcher should have file hash check on the game content to insure is not corrupted.

I've seen several reports around here that included both 32 and 64 bit OS. Also, the (suspected) memory leak seems to be a CryEngine specialty. I've been searching a bit with google in hopes of finding an explanation or solution and stumbled over similar Crysis 1/2 memory error descriptions that looked very much like what's happening in MWO right now. Same deal there, happens on both 32 and 64 bit systems. I'd love to know how to fix this problem.

and this
Spoiler

I haven't been able to play much with that kind of crash coming up again and again. That's supposed to be a stable release right? Apparently not ...

Hmm, apparently I still got the C-Bills from the battle that I got into, but crashed just after it began. Same memoryallocation error, same error log.

I got from 348k -> 408k, which is the minimum 60k reward?

Update: Following the advice of some gent in here, I ran the game on lowest settings and the bug disappeared completely.

I'll do some testing to see which of the sliders causes the game to become unstable.

Update 2: I can run all settings on Very High, except Texturing. That's where the game starts to give me memory errors. Medium settings work for now, at least on my end.

Update 3: As expected. Switching textures to high causes instant memory errors before the map countdown starts. Okay, I'm sending a ticket now.

Pleasure =)

I didn't receive a reply or acknowledgement of the ticket. Therefore I'd ask you to send them your findings as well.
Either they have too many tickets to go through or I'm on some sort of black list. My other closed beta tickets vanished in a similar way (no feedback, nothing).

I've been having this issue more and more in the last 2-3 patches. I get 2 full matches if I'm lucky before the crash. I tried Dober's suggestion and dropped my textures down to medium (nothing else was changed) and I played for more than an hour straight without a crash. It's been so long I almost forgot how to close the program the right way! I don't know if this is truly a "fix" but it's definately an area for the devs to look into.

Thanks Dober, I hated not being able to play this game!

Np mate. This game is worth to stick around. Maybe not now but half a year later when the basics are worked out and the build is (hopefully) more stable.
