So I can't figure out where to put this so I'll put it here. Whenever I join a game with any mech Trial or bought I start spinning in place, I found a topic on the fourm that talks about it(http://mwomercs.com/...ame-unplayable/) but whenever I try to read it I get a "you are not authorised to view this topic". I've tried reinstaling MWO, unpluging and repluging in my keyboard and making sure all my drivers were up to date. Anyone got any more advice?

I had the exact problem last night, since last patch. Do you have any other devices plugged in, like a joystick, that you aren't using? I unplugged the joystick i wasn't using and it didn't do it again in any of the other drops after that. Not even sure it was that that fixed it, but it works fine now.

It smells like a config glich/calibration with your control device. I suggest submitting a support ticket. This is still beta testing.

Every once in a while this will happen to me during a match. Usually at the start.

Hitting 'A' or 'D' without holding it down a couple times (whichever corresponds to the direction I'm spinning) fixes it.

I suspect it's because the key-up event either didn't register, or the packet that contained it wasn't received by the server (the game is using UDP).

I have no idea if this applies to your situation, but I experienced something similar in a different game.

It ended up being that I had to disable my extra devices in Device Manager -> Human Interface Devices. Whether they were connected at the time or not (My Wacom Tablet and one of the "general" looking ones which was actually my Razer Nostromo keypad). It was basically a bug in that games interface programming that never got fixed, it was picking up "ghost input".

Note: Be very careful doing this, and do it one device at a time, especially so you don't lock out your keyboard/mouse, if you try it. I take no responsibility, etc, etc.

Good luck!

I've had this issue in several games, including this one. The simple solution I've been told to use in other games, (this also works for me in MW:O) is to tap the movement key a couple of times in the direction you're spinning.
No need to unplug anything or mess with removing software.

I hope this works for you. ;)

lol

Happened to me too last night. Stuck in left hand turn:

-Started mid match frozen city night. Brought up Notepad but no "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa".
-Started new match. Still spinning. All other controls work fine (fire, map power, chat[no "aaaaaaaaaaaaaa"] etc.). Checked keyboard, pulled game pad - same thing.
- Restarted client. Still spinnig. Posted Image Random key pressing for 2-3 min - fixed!..? (Later noticed it said "Made in the Capellan Confederation" on the right hip actuator BTW.)

Edit: Spelling

I have the same problem, and bashing buttons doesn't do anything. Also, not going to uninstall any devices. Is there a fix coming?

I THINK I resolved that once by hitting w+a twice rapidly. Alternately, try power down/power up.
