Hey y'all... If you're using teamspeak with the overlay and having crashing issues, go to teamspeak's Settings menu, select Options, and disable the overlay. Restart Teamspeak.

I hope this helps!

/edit -- that actually might be Settings >> Plugins. I'm not at my gaming rig so don't remember. Some help this is ;)

I might not have set it up correctly, but overlay never worked for me anyway. I had it enabled but I still do not see the speaker's name show up on my screen.

You have to run both MW:O and TS as administrator for the overlay to show up (doesn't fix crash issues, though  ).

Sorry for revival. But the TS overlay is pretty damn handy if you ask me. Its not perfect but it works ok.

Just make sure you have teamspeak and the overlay active before starting the game.

Make sure to use in-game cursor. (Not sure if this is important but it saves any confusion)

On the input tab, set the activate key to something you dont use in game.
You can press that key whilst in game and move around all the display boxes.

Make sure you have enforce loading ticked on both the default profile AND the MWOClient profile in the teamspeak overlay. Also set retry injection after 30 seconds. Don't set this to 0 seconds because it will crash.

Then you can go ahead and customise all the colours as you see fit.

This is really handy for matches because you know who is talking in game. Also even more useful if everyone adds their mech name or speed or whatever to their nickname in Teamspeak.

Hope this helps

I have not had any problems with the overlay other than messing the settings it is a great option.

I've used vent for a long time, tried teamspeak today. In some ways it's better, but I lost the ability to use a mic once the game started. I tried binding the mic to a key that isn't used, but no luck. I suspect it's a setting I have incorrectly, but any help would be appreciated. It seems to me that once the game starts, all my key inputs go to the game (I run it in a window, not full screen).

Are you running TS as admin Moenrg? I had that problem with other games intercepting my push to talk key if it was not run with admin privlidges.

Which servers are people using for TS? I downloaded and installed, connected a mic, but I can never find a non-clan server for MWO. It seems that voice could make teams at least marginally more efficient, so I'd like to at least try it out.

TS was running fine yesterday for me on MWO which helps me knowing whos currently in my Lance etc. and who can hear me on my team. However today MWO will not start with TS open with overlay active, I have to start it up after MWO with overlay. However when I get TS running with MWO there is no overlay showing, other games TS's overlay is shown fine so I don't know whats happend and why its suddenly not working...

I tried reinstalling TS changed my pc's startup programs in case the Java disable stopped it working and still nothings working. Im hoping that there is a way of getting it able to work as its a great aid when im working together with new players and knowing whos said what and whos in charge on the field etc.

You are not the only one that is having this happen. It is basically happening across the board from what I have heard.

Ditto for me. Since the last patch MWO won't run with the Teamspeak Overlay.

Update: I had to update Teamspeak last night. Overlay is now working with MWO for me again.

I have a GTX570 too, but i never had message saying it's not supported.

The overlay was working fine, but after the last patch (beginning of april) , the overlay was not working...a few days later it started working again (silent patch maybe), but i got black screen on the end of every match.

Haven't tried since....but will do.

Installed version 3.7.19 of the overlay plugin.

Solved my problem with it crashing MWO a couple of patches ago.
