Sorry for asking this here, but I couldn't see a support/tech forum on the main page (and I'm a bit drunk, so whatever):

How can I get this full screen? I've made the appropriate adjustments in the options menu and rebooted the thing, but I am only presented with a small window.

If there is a portion of this forum that I missed, but could better find the answer in, I would be grateful for a link, as well as any (most likely simple) solution that I overlooked. Thanks.

The mechlab is not fullscreen.

For in-game resolution, it's under options, then set it to "Fullscreen" and with your desired resolution.

Yea, I have tried too, but it doesn't seem to work after a few patches ago. Full Windowed used to do it (although the button images and actual buttons were not lined up properly in the in-match menus).

Basically I had to use this because I hook my lappy up to the TV, and 720 Res in game wouldn't fill up the whole screen unless I used Full Windowed. Now I am forced to run 1080 Res, but in turn have to set the detail to LOW for a good frame rate.

See, I knew it would be something obvious; it didn't occur to me that that screen simply did not conform to the resolution rules. Thanks.

I know you can Alt+Enter the main lobby into Fullscreen, but it tends not to save after a game is played.

Yeah Im having trouble with this bollocks as well. Using custom user.cfg and it still messes up the resolution. Looking for workarounds to this crap. yes I play on a 32" LCD TV. Its like its loading something after the user.cfg file and it shouldn't be doing that.

Make a copy of system.cfg and rename it to systemcfgoverride.cfg. Than edit it w/ notepad tms.
-- Disable fullscreen mode
r_Fullscreen=1

-- Set 16 by 9
r_Width = 1920
r_Height = 1080

These will give u HD-fullscreen in game.
