SRM firing delay seems a little long.

I know they were a little too awesome a while ago but the new delay is throwing off my aim when using them in concert with other weapons due to the extra amount of lead I need to add to my aim thus throwing the other weapons off target.Do others hold similar concerns or is everyone OK with this?Just throwin' it out there.

Its bad. The spread is fair, but the delay..... Yeah no bueno.

Which mech were you using? Some have missile bay doors that need to open before the missiles will fire. The delay on, say, the Catapult or Centurion is quite severe when compared to those with exposed bays.

I completely forgot that the doors and to firing time.To clarify, I was using a Centurion (as always) when I noticed the delay.

With the hit detection issues we're suffering currently... is there even one reason to take SRM over Streaks?

Yep... the Cent has doors covering its missile pods, so the first time you fire them, you need to wait for the doors to open... it's an annoying freaking "feature".

That's wholly dependent on your connection. Other than the occasional whiff and mega lag moment where we all go back in time I find that they are acceptable as weapons.

Yep, I guess they had LRMs in mind when they decided the timing for the doors.Definitely something they should consider.
