Honestly, chances are even the founders are not pre-mades. The people who have been playing the game for a while do have the home field advantage. We know the lay of the land, and common tactics and so can move as a team even without proper comms. As a matter of fact I have found times in TS where it distracted from our coordination because we were jawjacking about something when the enemy pounced.
That being said, you need to assume there is a learning curve. Other people are tackling the same problems as you, and being successful. I would recommend using this as a challenge to figure out what works, and implementing it. There are plenty of back routs, covered passes, and other ways to get in behind the lines and chew up LRMs.
I recommend jumping on TS and hanging out with the folks there, if only for a little bit. If clans or guilds or whatever are not for you, fine, but there are plenty of people who will bring you in for a drop or two, and this experience can give you vast amounts of experience very quickly.
I do well even when I pug, not because I am "better" or my mech is "better" (I am still known for running around in my first love, a stock K2) but because I have learned to read other players and know who to stick with, when to commit to a fight, and when to seek cover.
I know it seems like everything is 100% LRMS right now, and this happened after the last reset too. Don't worry, soon enough people will earn their money, and the argument will be about Gausscats again
