Yup, the "Nothing Goes According to Plan" RP. I was just gonna pick it up a bit after where it left off: we've dropped into the LZ, and nothing has gone according to plan.

I'd be open to adding a few new faces, but I'm not sure how to arrange it short of retconning the roster. I'm open to suggestions on that front.

Can I chuck in a suggestion for the new faces?

They're members of the Tombstone Barber Shop Quartet, a mercenary group that plays the privateer angle so close they are nigh on bandits themselves. They're skilled in asset retrieval and denial...looting and pillaging, by any other name, and where possible they try to find a contract that provides some authority to that, if just to ensure they get paid twice. They have a very poor rating (though not quite rogue) from the MRB and are black-listed in the Draconis Combine, the Tauran Confederation and the Duchy of Oriente.

The Quartet have come to Main Street hunting Linda's Raiders, same as the Blue Suns. They don't have a contract, but have heard the local magistrate has offered a bounty, as well as that a rival group of bandits is willing to pay for killcam footage of the Raiders getting shot down. Their initial plans were to pick off any stragglers they could get, but upon finding out that the Blue Suns are here, figure they have a shot at taking down the whole bandit group with a little cooperation (which also lends to their legitimacy, allowing them to "commandeer" other things on world as they choose)

I've styled them as a "Quartet" with the thought of Rogue, Thom, Vodka and myself being in the sole lance, but we could always say they were originally a lance who have picked up a few extras along the way as they salvaged 'Mechs and wanted to put them to use.

Dude... I love the idea and the catchy name. So it seems we're all playing new characters? (for us that actually were playing in this one) Orson was cool, but I only posted with him a couple of times, so no attachment. Though his mech was cool, my new guy has dibs on it.

If we're all going to be one the same lance, what we going to be using? I'd prefur something fast and mobile, where we could use hit and run (aka nickel and dime) attacks, but I'm open for whatever.
