This was suggested during Closed Beta, however I think it's still a viable idea. We should have "last online" shown on our friends list. It would allow unit commanders to know how active their players are, and also, it would allow all players that have a long friends list, who is normally on.

If you support this new function on the friends list UI, then please bump this post.

If not, please say why it would be a bad idea.

The problem is that is people see their friends log off and never log back on again, it increases the likelihood that they will leave and never log on again as well.

Since I hit the friends cap, this would help me weed out those on my list who've not been online for a long time.
A better solution for me would be to increase the friends limit of course, but this can't hurt either.

@Protection: If said friends have such influence that the person would give up the game, chances are he'll not need the last online date to realize they haven't been around for a while.

Friends list: Throw it away and rebuild it from the ground (as soon as other major priorities have been taken care).

These things come to mind:

• The user interface is generally lacking intuitiveness
  
• Socializing (aka out of battle chat) is basically hidden
  
• Friends list lacks many comfort functions (like the example in this thread)
  
• The "blinking" notificaiton does not work either for everyone (esp. color blind/weak people)
  
• No C&P in form fields (TS Server address, clan homepage etc.),
  
• Disliked people have first to be added as friends before they can be blocked.
