god i hope they make some major changes to the system before they bring it back. watching my healthy mech ragdoll on the ground helpless because a dragon ran me over (this was while i was in my catapult) is not my idea of fun.

When light mech is running into a heavy - it must at least stop! Crash-stop maybe, if it isnt lucky enough.
But dont you forget about jump-hits!
Correct me if I'm wrong: there is a non-zero chance of crushing heavy mech's head if landed on it with a lighter one.
It was possible back in MW2, right?
Landing on enemy's mech cause some damage to the legs of the landed one, some - to the upper bodyparts of the other. Definately must cause a fall on both units.
And collisions must be not only with other mechs, environmental as well.
But even more - make the damn pathfinding difficult!
Running onto a 60+ degree cliff should not be possible at all!
And then - fall from the edge MUST be painful.
I can imagine safe-landing after a careful cliff-slide at slow speed, but i cannot imagine survival of any mech after a cliff jump. If no jets of course.
Environmental damage was a huge part of BT books. And it was terrifying!
Is it different with BT/MW tabletop?

I'm telling you an assault should be able to knock down a "CANKER SORE" light mech like an adult knocking over a 6 year old kid.
Even a medium should be able to trip a light mech, it would be like a Senior in High School punking a middle schooler, and seeing as how "CANKER SORE" lights are all the same size within each variant, then it makes sense...
.
#1. Commando = Squish
#2. Jenner = "hey don't take my lunch money!"..... Then Squish
.
It's not an assualts fault that a "CANKER SORE" light mech pilot can't steer to save his life, because that's "EXACTLY" what the "CANKER SORE" light mechs are supposed to do, (avoid getting hit with weapons), and if they can't even manage to steer out of the way of a slow lumbering assault, then it's their fault, and they have no business piloting the fastest, most agile Mechs in the game... PERIOD.. Don't punish the slow guys because lack luster "CANKER SORE" light pilots can't use the mech for it's intended role, that's not good...
But how do you really feel about Light Mechs?
