Real match making will make this better, but I think we also need the TAB player list to show group belongings (and perhaps founder flags), and we need it yesterday!!

Yup. More options to people on HOW they want to fight random matches. Community warfare expansions is something else entirely but I'd like the following options:

1: VOIP [This of course depends on if it will lag the game to oblivion]
2. Choices
-Random players only - Team Deathmatch
-Random players only - Deatchmatch
-Teams Only - Team Deathmatch
3. Map selection
4. Mission Selection
5. Community Warfare [Galaxy map, join your 'fleet' and your clan/corp/merc/house/ for cash and glory]
6. Practice mode [Test builds against AI no cash or XP reward]

Also - a Pre & Post combat chat function PLEASE.

Etc...

Met a Premade that derived pleasure from extreme cruelty (since ****** is apparently not allowed) yesterday.

They started with destroying the AC20 of my HBK, followed by the other shoulder, then shot away my leg armor and were just about to blow my CT armor when I managed to get out of bounds.

I can stomach that (Founder Bonus), but the same happened to the other guys, some of which had already Custom Mechs. I could absolutely understand if somebody never looked back at MWO after grinding for a Mech of their own and then basically loosing it in the first Match.

Extreme cruelty = shooting your robots in a robot-shooting videogame.

We had some people squawk at us, and try smack-talking the night of OB... don't think it was any actual WoL folks, as we trounced them speedily.

Or make it a long lingering death by slowly crippling you. I'm gonna keep my head mounted small laser on my hunchback and call it "The Black Knight"

"Come on - T'is just a flesh wound!"

With luck I'll core someone before I go boom

So its my fault for earning the C-Bills via matches to purchase the Mek and the weapons that PGI designed and then going out and beating people?

Way to transfer blame.

Feeling guilty???

Of course it is not your fault (unless you steamroll new players who use trial mechs and then isult them because they loose). This is not a singular problem. It is not the TOOLS people use it is rather a combination in lack of tools and also lack of social manners.

1. Matchmaking is extremely limited
2. Some people don't know how to talk in a civilized manner in chat
3. Some people enjoy steamrolling new people in cookie-cutter tactics against Trial mech beginners
4. The same people also insult said new player because they "suck" compared to their aloof elite status

Point 1 can be fixed by PGI
Point 2-4 can PARTLY be fixed by point 1 but douchebags exists everywhere.

Some people like random disorganized chaos deathmatches and others prefer organized co-operation.

This is a communications problem and also a lack of proper matchmaking system so that like minded people can fight each other.

Could you guys imagine this game if this had been Team Fortress 2 and people had been as **** about proper comms channels and how to fight properly???

Wait, are my eyes funny, or are there two TL:DR sections, each of which rivals the original statement in length?

And did somebody mention squawking in a negative light? I will not have my spotless honor besmirched.

Good day, gentlemen.

Also, this is a different clan from the one that goes "squak", I think I've played those guys before too and they are nowhere near as bad.
