FOR THE LOVE OF GOD this is the OLDEST joke in the book serous i myself dont fall for it but its soooo f***ing old so just stop it and grow up

If it is indeed the oldest joke of all time(yet to be proven as we have yet to find a prehistoric keyboard and i doubt it is due to dude pull my finger) then why should it be stopped. Think about it. All it takes is one time for most people. One time and you never do it in any game again, EVER. Congratulations, you have now learned a valuable lesson and gained a valuable tool for when your screen goes black or your graphics crash or you find yourself stuck on a building. But most off all you have now learned the lesson o f don't believe everything you read on the internet especially if it is coming from the other team.

It only start to get fun if the same person if falling more than once to it.

Pulling that joke and finding a player who has no knowledge about this key combo, provides no enjoyment for the team that is now one or two players short. This poor joke is just used to try to make your victory more easy. Any excuse to try to teach the one who fell for it, is a lie.

I think that you have no sense of humor and take internet robots a little to seriously.Its a gag and it is funny to millions of people in thousands of games. It IS a timeless joke that never stops working do to people wanting to believe that there is some magical button that will help them or acting before they think. If you do not like it do not use it. But don't sit on your imaginary internet throne and pass judgement on me. It is a waste of time. Also lets be honest here if you where on a team and members of your team fell for it you where probably doomed from the start so it didn't really make it any easier on anyone except the people who ejected.

I have a very good sense of humor, thank you! I laugh a lot and enjoy my life, without ever making it miserable to others. That is not the point of this thread though.

This particular joke is funny only to those who use it, not those that fell for it, or are a victim to someone who fell for it. A good joke is always funny for all sides included.

But when i say "use Alt + F4 for god mode", and there are player crashing, they DESERVE IT! They wanted to cheat. They wanted to activate a god mode so they dont die. For gods sake, these idiots are to stupid for a fair game and should stay offline after the crash.

I recall there was this one time someone in the opposing team made that Alt-F4 joke.
Almost instantly 2 of his own teammates disconnected,
the remaining 14 players all laughed hard ... so this one time it was worth the lolz xD.

If that was, like, yesterday or the day before - it might've been me.

Dropped into a PUG, someone on the opposing team said something like "OMG, I'm stuck in 3rd-person!" and I decided to play along. I said "Alt+F4!" and ... 2 of my teammates dropped.
