So I have a dual monitor setup and only play on one monitor. The cursor is not confined to the monitor that has the game window, allowing it to wander onto the 2nd monitor and minimize the game on a mouse click.

This is extremely frustrating.

I also run dual monitors, but my mouse stays in the game window just fine. So I wonder if there's a setting somewhere else that could help? I run it at 1680x1050 fullscreen. Make sure you're not running it as a full window, but actually fullscreen via the video settings.

This is a known bug with Full Window mode.

Really, Full Window should be an option; I know it's possible to confine the mouse cursor to a window. Until this bug gets fixed, yes, either run it in hard Fullscreen mode or find a 3rd party mouse-constraint app (there are a few).

What would be the difference between running in Fullscreen or Full Window with mouse constraint (in regard to dual monitors)? I've been using dual monitors for a while, but I thought Full Window was so that people with single monitors could alt+tab out quicker and with less hiccup? Or is there a reason that I'm completely ignoring?

In some cases, running in windowed mode is more stable than running fullscreen. Plus some people just prefer not having the display(s) reinitialize when something goes into or out of fullscreen mode.

Ah, I did not know about potential stability differences. Thanks!

Double tapping esc (opening and closing the menu) in game re-confines the mouse cursor.
Thanks to Zero for this workaround
