Unfortunately, am having problems installing MWO with a strange error that comes up as 0x800713 - Asia.

If you would be so kind to take a look, it would be greatly appreciated. I am sure I am not the only person experiencing this issue.

Minimum requirements are XP SP3, try updating that first.

you must have windows service pack 3. the error is a dot net framework error. i believe that if you install service pack 3 then dot net framework you will get it fixed.

Theres also several threads in this part of forum about same or nearly same issue with installation, check it first, please, before creating new one.

I'd asked support for help with the problem, so the answer (works for me, btw):

The vast majority of these errors can be fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling with this program. Microsoft FixIt: http://support.micro...l_and_Uninstall

Also, please completely delete your Piranha Games folder (Default location is C:\Games)

You may also want to make sure that you have the right version of DirectX and the most up-to-date-versions of C++ and .NET
