suicide farming, usualy you can tell a suicide due to seeing "usernotfound...." coming up at during the match, and well closed beta people received warning for this and belive a few also received bans for this.
Suicide farming puts the team your on at a immediate disadvantage due to your selfishness just to get cbills.

PGI - please clamp down on this and take mechs and equiptment etc off people that used this to get new mechs etc, as well as removing other mechs gained beyond that, basicly I'm saying set them back to square one so people cheating by exploiting this dont profit from it, which also says to others "it's pointless doing this because when we catch you, you will be back at square one" which will ensure others dont try this either.

Bans are more effective, because they also lose any spent MC. If you don't ban someone you open a whole can of worms if you reset anything they spent money to directly gain.

Usernotfound is when a player spawns inside the ground.

actualy it comes up when people run off into the out of bounds area and suicide delibrately, bans should be a final step, which is worse, ban cant play till reregister and starting again (which they will) or coming back to find all your xp etc been reset to start and all the mechs you gained as a result etc had been removed? end of day it says "doing this is pointless, we catch you which we will and you'll be back to square one making it pointless" which case people wont bother as they gain nothing by doing it.

CCP does something similar on eve online when they catch you "gold" selling, they give you and the person you gave the "gold" to negative wallet ballances first time round, so not only dont you profit from it, it also costs you lol.

When I used to run out of bounds it always said I'd killed myself.

Biggest problem I've seen are people purposely running towards the enemy at full speed and dying as quickly as possible. Probably to they can jump on the next available trial mech in the stable and repeat the process all over again.

I suppose this may eventually bite them in the backside when community warfare comes around and their rating sucks that same backside...Hopefully something can be done about it sooner then that.

if it happens when you loading that isn't suicide and not a exploit, just something for devs to fix, what I'm on about is players running for out of bounds moment match starts.

OP would have been better off not saying anything. I highly suggest PGI delete this thread so beginning players looking to make a quick buck don't try to exploit this method they may not have known existed.

The way to stop this is to make it favorable to actually play the game instead.

Not bans or warnings.

That's right. Tempt players to play how you want with a carrot, don't beat them with a stick if they refuse. Or at least beat them with the carrot.
