FPS for me is pretty decent across all maps except frozen city. There, I often get 15-25 fps while looking at the center of the map. I suspect it has to do with the weather effects. It is maybe 10 fps better looking at edges. There is some kind of extra performance needed on this map. Maybe it has to do with more open areas? Most other maps I get 30-40 depending on what I'm looking at. I have a Geforce GT 430 with updated drivers and a quad core AMD Phenom II at 3.5 Ghz.

Could be your graphic card going nuts or your shading cache getting corrupted.
