Hi major i'm pretty new here too and you'll love these guys, probably one of the best communities i've seen in an online game.

Nice to see a newb saying something positive about the game for once. But fyi playing solo will get better next week when they nerf premades. So hold off judgements on your w/l ratio until then.

Regarding the environments; destruction is something I've been telling them to give us. This engine they are running the game on is fully capable of destruction features. Buildings should peel off layers from damage and blow up if missiles fire into them. Trees should fall over or BURN. That kind of thing... You can't even pancake cars right now on the city map, which is really saddening. A 100 ton tall Atlas can't pancake a jeep by stepping on it? They're indestructable too btw. You can fire at a van all day long and it won't budge. Really takes you out of the immersion that you're in a GIANT MECH. We should be able to crush cars, blow up street lights and buildings.

I'm not a fan of segregation myself, but until the game has an auto-VOIP for all groups (C3 isn't this just...yet), the discussion of matchmaking will continue.
