Yeah, the title says it all. Another fundamental thing missing from game. Vehicles ont he ground should be crushed under our feet and foot prints should be highly visible. All fundamental things that should have been itnroduced with game from day one.

I'm pretty sure they announced that they're adding destroyable trees, didn't hear anything about vehicles yet. I thought we could already see the mechs footprints?

And I wouldn't exactly call these fundamental, these are little details that help add to immersion. Fundamental is core mechanics and weapon balance, and bug fixes.

I would agree but this is all basic bare bones stuff, and fundamnetal is also used as a word to signify "basic".

It is being worked on, though. And I would appreciate a more stable game before they add in the goodies like destructable environments.

"basic" it may be, but often times the "basic" stuff can bug out something terrible if implemented incorrectly, so likely they're just making sure it's not interefering with anything.

Anyone here play the Bat 3 beta? If they did they would remember destructible terrain, and how it bugged the crap out of the game. Even tree destruction is not "simple" for a physics engine. Dont get me wrong, i would love it to, but i understand it isnt easy to do, and MWO has bigger issues to deal with first before getting into luxuries.

I would love to see the trees falling too, but not at the cost of fps.

Well, I don't want them to keep the game dull because your or anybody else's PC can't handle it. Besides if the tree is drawn on your screen already it shouldn't be a drain on your system just to make it fall. They aren't adding(or drawing) anything extra, they are just changing it's location and it's attitude.

Now if they add sparks to the tree as it did in the video above, which is not a vidoe of what I am suggesting, I don't care if they fall or don't fall from shooting, I want them to fall when we walk on them, if they add sparks like that, that will increase drain on your system, more particles to draw = lower FPS.

Besides this game was made on the cryengine3, come to think of it, this game should look even more amazing than it does right now.
