I've been sitting here waiting for the Nov 6th patch to finally fix my AWS-9M so that it has the proper heat dissipation, only to find out that not only will all my DHS be nerfed but my MPLAS to boot.

Instead of my Mech becoming more heat efficient on Tuesday, it'll be hit with a double-sided Nerf Axe of Doom™.

Because laserboats are so super common and overpowered right now, of course. This is some straight bull.

They said DHS would be 2.0 including engines.

They said there was a major heatbug and it would lead to big changes.

So, they plugged a heatleak that made half the game's weapons do more heat, by their words. AND they settled on 1.4 for DHS because it took the concern of heat out of mechs.

I am going home and asking for a refund. This killed it for me.

So will you tune our cost up or down and return us the money based on your "Telemetry"? What was your problem PGI, someone spending C-bills could make a powerful mech? Good lord you guys astound me daily with your crap, you and your alpha testers need to get glasses. We paid for double HS, not 1.4, you need to lower the cost down by 60% if I am only getting 40% of the efficiency I paid for.

I do think refunds on the cost may be in order, but I am more concerned in the long run about crits. Having two added crits used to only give a 40% increase in heat dissipation? I'd like to see them drop to only one extra crit (so two spaces used up) or go to the full x2 heat dissipation.

PGI will monitor DHS' closely and tune this number up or down depending on the telemetry data received from production servers.
