Hi, quick question:

How high are the repair costs of the commando 1B if i don't use any rockets?
It was dirt cheap before they changed the repair costs.

How much will i have to pay to repair if if it really gets manhandled?

In other words: will i make profit compared to a trail mech if i use the commando 1B and i'm destroyed often (which means repair costs would have to be way under 20k)

The only mech i want to pilot is an atlas, and i'm thinking about the fastet way to get there without suicide rushing.

On my com-2D with 3 streaks, repair costs are usually below 20k. It's a very cheap mech to repair.

My 3A with 2xSSRM cost around 25k to repair after being destroyed. I don't think you can really lose money with a commando.

COM-1B, Endo-Steel, DHS, Standard Engine.
Repair cost last time I checked was max 25k.

Even when I loose matches with CT cored, I make a good profit

I come out to about 15k, and that's with full upgrades; FF, ES, DHS, the works. That doesn't include rearm, but w/ 75% free, you almost don't need to. That's literally 60-135k profit per match.

you can't go wrong with a COM.

Commandos could easily net you close to 100k profit in every match, and they can hold their own with their missiles. With the speed and low profile, your low armor wont be a problem until late in the game. I'd say it's an excellent choice for grinding out an Atlas.
