I've been waiting for this game for years now and it is finally here! An awesome mech combat simulator that has promised to be everything most, if not all of us, have wanted to see in a game. So when I joined this a while ago I eagerly jumped into a match hoping to test out what new things this game had to offer.

I moved about 5 squares on the map and was immediatly beaten to death by everyone in sight. Then I paused to have a drink. Anyway that pattern repeated itself numerous times and I would get rolled all day long. I took it quite dry for a week straight and it's still hard to sit right... but then a moment of true enlightenment as I was a gnat's forskin away from death at the hands of an Atlas someone I had joined group with had come to my rescue! Blowing the ******* apart from the rear. "Ha! Take that profiler!" This was a true moment of clarity and a great lesson in team work showing that good communication as well as good pilots can truely change the tide of battle. That is until a damn Jenner came flying out of nowhere and caused death from above.

Anyway I digress. Do you know what I am really sick of nowadays with this game? Gauss cats, but more importantly trolls. All pilots have to do is simply ask one another if they want to group up. This drastically increases your chances of winning. Is it to much to ask? Is it? When I joined the closed beta I would bent over at the front of the line. And now I AM THE LINE!

Now where was I, oh yes stop complaining! Is it to much to ask that people simply join in on the fun of killing others? Piloting a mech that can level a whole city but take a damn week to reach it is one thing, but if there are more of you you can do it even faster! This game can be unreasonably cruel at best. Isn't that a strange phrase? Only if you decide, however, to run alone.

So jump in a group, it's not that hard to simply ask one another if you wish to join and achieve a common goal together. How hard is it to be a Gears of War fan piloting an Atlas and not think that the Centurion in front of you taking all the damage you should be isn't a chest high wall? See? Teamwork works and those that don't join are simply foolish then.

It gets worse when those "lone wolves" think that using something like ventrillo or mumble is cheating. How is that cheating? Coordinating a tactical strike from a safe distance as your enemies pile up into a heap of scrap set for the nearest junk yard is cheating. Yet leaning over and looking at the smart kids test is what? Sharing?

Using programs like Ventrillo or Mumble are perfectly fine. Hell whenever you clicked the damn group button the game OFFERED a voice communication program for you to use! If you just lost in a fight in your Hunchback because you couldn't hit the Dragon in front of you it's not because he has a lag shield it's because he is just a better pilot and, unlike those that are this kind of sore loser, his hardline isn't shoved up his ***.

This game is focused on team effort, coordination, tactics, and communication. If you are one of these lone pilots that hates being in the front of the line like I was then just ask a group if you can join. So many grouops are out there just waiting for people to join up with them. So many are willing to sit down and teach players what to do, how to pilot certain mechs, what tactics are best, what equipment to use to fulfill certain roles, etc. There are so many and yet people are so ignorant that they would rather stay alone, get crushed, and lose interest in a game they wanted to play? Why?

So please join up, get in groups, and kick some *** together. I'm willing and waiting to meet new players and teach! But if you don't and think that this was a huge waste of time and that I'm a troll that should be taken behind a brick wall and see how well I do with a bicycle chain beaten against my teeth. Well... then bring it on.
I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield

Unfortunately I couldn't get through your post. Edit it and use paragraphs and I think you'll get some more detailed responses....

I opened this post up and SMACK .. SLAM ... I never knew that a text could be shot at you in AC/20 form ... holy crap I've got critical damage to my Eye Sockets!!!

At the end he has a great message ... get in Teamspeak, group up with people and enjoy the game ... but ouch ... it's like dropping 400 LRMs on you in a 2 second spam, then walking over and offering a beer to make you feel better ...

It all depends on what any one person thinks but my opinion is to group and jump on TS. The game is 200 times more fun when you have a group of guys drinking and laughing at each other the whole night while you blow things up.
