It might be nice if every time you came to the MechLab screen, there was a random sampling of Trial mechs / variants there.

Keep one slot for each weight category.

This way, there is less complaining about the poor trial mech selection, and players are actively pushed into learning more about the various mechs and their variants.

Just an idea.

i dont think this is a good idea.
Because, i could imagine, that if someone is getting used to a certain mech, he would not like to be forced to play another one for maybe 10 matches.

The selection of Trial Mechs is subject to regular change allready, but i dont know in what amount of time they change.

I would rather see the Trial selection include one variant of each chassis, then randomize the variants every week. (Or at least give us 8 different trial 'mechs at a time.)

This lets people get a better idea of what everything can do while they're still in Trial 'Mech mode.
