Every match is horrid.

Too slow in making this game fun.

Good job showing the new players on this released game what they get for their money

Every match is a blowout

No wipes = release

Yup I am going to quit playing until I see improvement

the fact that you cant see the danger of people quitting is funny

when enough people quit, there wont be a game, then it wont matter how much you defend the devs

Unfortunately this has been my experience as well. Whether I win or lose (mostly lose as a lone wolf), the games are always totally one sided, and it's usually one team that's loaded with trial players and the other team loaded with founders/payers. I just don't understand why PGI isn't totally panicked about this and doing some serious damage control via communications and assurances it will be fixed (not just 4 man groups) within a weeks time, etc.

I had some even games tonight, with minimal trial mechs on either side. There wasn't a lot of talking going on, but less zerging, and more movement to get into position.

8/6 was the final score.

Before that, I spent like three hours straight up farming n00bs for XP and money with some guys.

Me and the rest of Blood Pearls was jsut in 3 great matches that came to the wire...was fun for me idk bout u but fun for me

I just really think I am playing a different game sometimes. I'm in epic, down to the wire matches where it comes down to 2 damaged mechs in a bitter brawl for the win.

Sure, you run into the odd unbalanced team situation but they are implementing the first stage of fixing this in 2 days. TWO MORE DAYS TO WAIT!

Soooo you expected to jump right in with people that have been playing this for 2 or more months and show us how it's done? It's going to take time to learn. Also this is NOT a released game in any form... there is still LOTS to be added. Hense the term BETA.

I see quite a few close matches. Some go right down to the wire. Had one where it was just me and my crit commando vs a healthy Atlas just this morning at the end of the drop. We lost the drop because of some strange deal with the death count. It should have been a 7 - 7 draw at the least when I killed the atlas but it wasn't. This Is one sore point I have is that one team has fewer kills but is the only ones left standing at the end - you still loose. Win/Loss should be based on surviving mechs - not killed ones if the objective isn't capped.

There's still some argument over the whole "beta" thing.If the game is in such rough state why am I able to buy stuff?

I suspect half the problems have to do with lone wolfing in certain mechs. I get grouped so often in my Catapult with 6 trial mechs on my team and I suspect it's because with the 4 limited choices for trials, my catapult balances the group out or something.

Because it's been released. When they say 'open beta,' that's indie and F2P code for 'released game.'

People go through very obvious phases before they 'quit' on anything.

He already subsidized 60 bucks for the game, he has every right to complain as this game fades into oblivion for him.

It's always great watching people complain but never give any suggestions on what they feel would improve the game for them.

OP is looking for validation of the decision to quit.

I couldn't drive my mech properly for a week, and over the course of the following 3 weeks, my opinion of myself as a mechwarrior god dwindled considerably. I'm better for it. In fact, my godhood may be on the rise - After pulling off a single-handed victory (5 of them vs. the 1 of me), one of my (dead) teammates called me a god.

I only had 2 SSRM2s, by the way. (wonders if that makes them even more OP)
