Unbeloved stepchild: CPLT-C4

But now, with all the upgrades I had a spare ton on my gauss K2 and took 2 small lasers mit, and that was really a good choice - ammo lasts longer and you have something to fall back on.
So, how good is the C4? You don't see it often on the 'fields...
I thought about a LRM-Carrier with two Medium (pulse?) Lasers - do you get this with 4 LRM15 and a good load of ammo? Does that fit?
Or are there some other viable builds?

Is 4x LRM10 better than 2x LRM20? Hotter and fires faster, right?
Btw, whats MWO mechbay? can I design my build without buying it? want

Another fun build for the C4 is MPL + 4 x SSRM2, absolutely vicious

2 Medium lasers
4 SRM6
Max armor
And a fast engine
I came up behind a Gauss-cat once that hadn't noticed me. One Alfa-strike and he immediatly died. I'd give anything to see his reaction.
It was fun to play with when you could afford it after playing 3-4 games. But now when you need to play for 5+ hours I dont think I'll build it again.

2x LRM 10
2x SSRM2
2x MPL
300XL
-> I can deliver a constant barrage of LRM support due to the faster recycle time of the LRM10s and can stand my ground against Jenner & Co.
-> My preferred role is in attack as close range support, keeping me at 200-250m to the enemy where I can use all my weapons at once. Good times.

If you need more ammo means you waste it a lot

Tried it with chained streaks before as well, but I've been in BT/MW too long to have done it as more than a short experiment. It's just not in the spirit of the game (allowing pure crosshair targeting of direct-fire weapons is enough over the cliff). Looking forward to streak normalization and the addition of the bigger launchers.

In my case 2xMPL. A better brawler than a 6xSSRM2 A-1 if you ask me. At least you won't worry about running out ammo and becoming a giant battering ram.
Also for A-1, 2xLRM15 + 4xSSRM2 is my build. Gotta pay for the ammo, though.

Amen, the 7 tonnes of LRM ammo and the 3 tonnes of SSRM ammo make the build expensive to run but so so effective in crumpling charging mechs. As for C4 variant I typically ran 2xLRM10's and 2xLRM5's with 2 medium lasers, allowed me to chain fire down range with enough heat sinks and ammo to keep it up for quite awhile.

I tried this build, I achieved over 600 damage dealt in one match. I can deal 200-300 regularly too if my team don't totally fail. I've ran into an A1 Streak Cat before and fought a duel too, the A1 was just able to beat me. On another day it might of gone my way.
