Now that we are into open Beta we are getting the Stat Chasers. Their gameplay is tailored to skew the stats in their favor any way they can with no regard to teamplay. Please stop posting the stats (which are meaningless to teamplay anyway) and the SC's will stop playing like twads.
I see people Alt-F4'ing right before getting killed so they dont register a death for the Kill/Death stat. I also dont get the Kill and lose pilot exp as well.
I see players running to the four corners of the map to go hide when we are down to 1 or 2 mechs left, so they dont die and the game ends with a cap.
I have even seen people quit after we are down by 2 or 3 mechs.
I will be chasing a jenner with 5 team mates nearby and before my battle is over I am the last mech. I had been wondering how the other team could mow down my whole team so fast, until I realized that they were pulling the plug as soon as the match looked slighty unfavorable.
This is a potential game wrecker and should be addressed.
Please stop posting Stats

It is unlikely they are doing this for stats.....just saying
Edit: Also why were 6 of your team, including you, chasing a Jenner as the enemy was cresting?

PGI has intentionally refused to make any comment on this, no changes are forthcoming, you should quit.
Or, you could go read the dev/command chair areas.

Stats would be fine if people didnt try to 'game' them. But since they do, something needs to be done - Not to fix the stat numbers, but to keep people playing the team game.
Removing stats altogether is a drastic but effictive fix. If another fix could be implemented I would be all for it.
