For some reason does not matter what I change in the User.cfg my mouse sensitivity is just way too high. I have tried lowering it in Windows but this does not affect in game. I have played with user.cfg settings and no change,

This is what I currently have in .cfg which I would have though would have slowed my mouse to a crawl;


i_mouse_smooth = 0
i_mouse_accel=0
;cl_sensitivity = 0.5 (0.1 default I think)
;cl_sensitivityController = 0.2
;i_mouse_accel_max = 100

But nothing, the sensitivity is just too high and makes hitting anything not standing still very hard.

Any advice?
Why is something as simple as a mouse sensitivity slider not in the options tab, seriously - you would have thought this to be a pretty important option to be able to adjust.

take away the semicolon in front of cl_sensitivity.

cl_sensitivity = 0.5 is default. Try cl_sensitivity = 0.3
