i was playing some games when i suddenly had no cockpit. nor did i have any red targeting circles. the rest of my hud was still there though

Seems similar to the shutdown bug where you lose all your HUD and target info because it gets stuck in the shutdown effect etc....except you at least have a non red screen & HUD.

Would be just as annoying , thats for sure.......

nope lol. it randomly occured at the beginning of the match. and then didnt fix itself till i completely logged out and restarted the client

I experienced a similar issue, where the cockpit was there but absolutely no HUD / UI.
I was able to play the match as the controls react normally, but with no aim cursor and Information about enemy it was very difficult . I didnt find a way to reproduce the issue.
